Monday, Michelle Pflaum and the Australian Consul General David Lawson AUSTRADE hosted a lunch for the delegation and 2 successful Aussie Entrepeneurs in the Valley.... Gower Smith of Zoom Systems (having raised $100m over past 5 years) a nd Andrew from Ephox who has grown organically. The common theme was that for every $ spent on R&D , you need at least 3Xs thaton Marketing and Promoting, and you need ot be close to the market.... Both said that they would not have been able to achieve what they have without the support of AUstrade's EMDG scheme and Ausindustries R&D Incentives.
